Last month I met a gorgeous young lady named Penny. Penny Loafer. She seemed like a real heel. I think she has a lot of sole. When I met her she was walking her dog but the dog wouldn't stop barking. Naturally she would tell her dog, "Hush Puppy. Hush Puppy!" Penny called last week to inform me her dog was tragically killed. He was hit by a toe truck, driven by some guy named Stacey Adams. It was a beautiful funeral. He was buried in a shoebox, 6 feet under, on ol' boot hill. Rev. Tom McCann was the eulogist. The reception menu was tasty. It included corn, and of course, jams. Penny and I are kicking it to this day!

Subscriber Contest and Prize Ideas

Okay everyone,  we are ready to give away some prizes.  Our goal is 5,000 subscribers.  Now we know that Rome wasn't built in a day.  (And neither was my brother in law's extensive collection of Star Wars Lego spaceships).  So to show how awesome we are, we're going to give prizes along the way.  This is what I propose:  The first prize will be given away at 100 subscribers.  The second at 500.  Third at 1,000.  Another at 2,000 and finally the grand prize will be given out at 5,000 subscribers.

First off to qualify for entry into the contest you have to be a Me Like Jokes blog subscriber and you have to make a comment on the blog.  You will get an entry for the first three comments you make per tier.  And once we reach a tier goal the slate is wiped clean and you have to comment again for a chance at the next prize.  For example:  If Mary makes three comments before we reach 100 subscribers, then she gets her name entered 3 times into the raffle.  But before we reach 500 subscribers she didn't comment again.  Then she does not get her name entered into the raffle for the 500 subscriber prize.

Alright, clear as calculus?  Great.

In other news, the poll from last week has concluded and has proved indecisive.  Sadly we have been unable to determine if we should call those who check in at our blog, youtube channel etc., followers, friends, or waffles.  The only thing that has been decided upon, is that our last poll was apparently not the dumbest poll ever.  Kudos to us.  More videos and polls to come soon!

New ads and new friends!

   Alright it's a new week, and with that we have new videos!  We start this week with a pair of Me Like Joke ads, comparing Me Like Jokes to the accomplishments of both Billy the Kid and Magic Johnson.  Diverse?  Yes, yes we are.

   Beyond that however, we also have new followers to the blog, also known as friends.  New friends, it is our assumption that you prefer to be called friends, and not followers.  I mean, followers may make it sound like you're in a strange cult of sorts where perhaps you ride goats as a ritual,  (obviously, no animals would be harmed).  Friends, however, simply implies that perhaps we have a game night and play board games together once in a while, (good times).  Let us know what you prefer.

    Last of all, to all of our friends and/or followers, we want to have more friends and/or followers. What can we say?  We were the kid in class that needed the spotlight and attention, (to the detriment of everyone else's education, not to mention our own).  However, we realize, that we cannot make new friends alone.  So please appease our attention needs and introduce your friends to us, and us to your friends, (think of it as a blind date, minus the dating).  Or if you have good ideas on how we might make more friends, (and/or followers), let us know and maybe we'll give it a shot!

   Anyway, I will stop writing in this stream of consciousness style and instead eagerly await comments and any form of attention that may be received as a result of this post.  I hope to talk to you all soon!

And here it is, the Weatherman Audition!

Updated Schedule!

Our schedule has changed!  We've been working on videos that we can release in the upcoming months, and as we've been looking over the schedule we realized we should make a couple of changes.  Don't you worry, we are still releasing videos weekly, if not more.

The new schedule means we are able to make sure our videos are top notch, and it allows us to work on some other cool, super secret, you-can't-know, projects, (Ok, so you just can't know, yet, don't feel left out).  Don't think we are going away, or that we're lame, 'cause we aren't lame.


We have videos planned out for the next few months,  (that's right, we're good), so be not afraid.  Oh, and do us a favor and tell you're friends that we're awesome, and then have them tell their friends, and then those friends should tell their distant cousins, and then I hopefully will get a phone call from a cousin that I haven't spoken to in years who said he heard from a friend, who heard from a friend, about a cool youtube channel, and that he saw it and I was on it.  That'd be awesome; please help my dream come true.
